I agree with guys above about the cropping.
My suggestion would be to keep the whole head and arms in the frame with a bit of extra space between the edges and you.
Another thing would be the background - I'd say it should be far more away... so the flash wouldn't leave the hard shadows on it. You might also want to consider another light source, like light coming from outside (I presume you made this photo at home), perhaps diffusing it using, say, venetian blinds to direct the light onto the celing, so it would bounce off it (you might want to do this when the sunshine is rather strong).
I hope this helps a little.

Expression is ok but composition could be beter, also I don't like shadow on the wall.
